HSC result via SMS and Online

Life is more easier than that of before. No matter where you are, you can receive  HSC, Alim, Fazil and HSC (vocational) results 2010 in real-timethrough your cell phone or internet at home.
 
To get result online:
www.educationboard.gov.bd is the official website to get HSC, Alim, Fazil and HSC (vocational) results 2010 via online. One can also get his result via e-mail in realt-ime by registering. One can register easily on education board site.
 
To get result via sms:
The examinees have to type the first three letters of their respective boards, give space and then type their roll numbers and send the SMS to 16222 to get results.

Use of ICT in teaching

THIS brief note has three sections. In the first section I have tried to analyze the potential merits and demerits of using ICT in the process of teaching. The second section describes the stage of development of ICT in Bangladesh, particularly focusing on its use in the education sector. The third section identifies the three crucial constraints against further development of ICT in the education sector of Bangladesh. The paper ends with some concluding suggestions for future.
Teaching Profession and ICT
Every human being is a lifelong student. But only some of them become teachers and teach others i.e. they try to communicate what they have learnt to their students. So a teacher has to learn continuously and teach continuously throughout his/her life. He/she must remain simultaneously a student as well as a teacher if he/she wants to be dynamic in his/her noble vocation.

PM launches e-book of textbooks at primary, secondary levels

DHAKA, April 24 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today formally launched e-book, a digitized compilation of primary and secondary textbooks, opening a new horizon of easy access to text books through Internet.

The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) and UNDP- funded Access to Information (A2I) Programme of the Prime Minister's Office jointly organized the inaugural ceremony.

From now on textbooks will be available on www.ebook.gov.bd for free. The e-book will eliminate all fear of hampering learning due to delay in getting textbooks.
